Tree Inspection

The tree inspections generally start from the ground. First of all, thorough information is obtained about site history including adjustments in the grade, the changes in the drainage patterns, removal of trees in the neighborhood, or any other impact on the particular area where the tress is grown. The site is closely inspected for any changes that might draw attention. The trunk, scaffold branches, root crown, bark, twigs, crown, and leaves are next inspected to get an idea of the condition of the tree. If there are any causes of concern, further investigations are carried out. If the investigators notice any changes they might climb the trees to inspect the top of the tree, excavate the soil surrounding the trunk to inspect the roots, bore the trunk and look for signs and extent of decay. The investigators generally take recourse to the latest methods to do the inspection work.

During a typical inspection some of the things that should be looked into are: the age, the target, size, and species, of the tree as well as the general condition of the tree and any defects. It is imperative that tree inspections be done either regularly or to solve specific problems. Property owners frequently inspect their trees so that it does not destroy other’s property and becomes a liability. It is therefore necessary that trees should be inspected at regular intervals. It is often seen that trees remain healthy and green for a long period of time even after there has been damages that have been inflicted on the trees by either natural or man made causes.
